Grahams retirement
Here at Chelburn Precision we have many members of staff with long service who are a key part of the team. One such member of the team is Graham.
Graham has been with us for just shy of 19 years and been a big part of our success with his Fanuc programming and setting skills on one of our larger milling tools, the BUTLER HE4000’s and its 6.2-meter bed.
With his careful planning, job setting and programming he has successfully manufactured many of our larger and complex components over the years, even earning special thanks and recognition from one of our customers, but the time has come for him to retire, to put down his tools and calculator and enjoy the fruits of his labour. Here is what he has to say about working for one of the U.K’s most successful engineering firms.
“I came here for the decent pay, a good sick pay scheme, generous pension and the annual pay rise without ever asking for one. No complaints from me.”
“It’s not all been about work though, we’ve had some great Christmas do’s, BBQ’s in summer, a day out at football matches and even Go-Karting events (I got on the podium). I’m ready for retirement now though. I’ll have a lot of great memories from working at Chelburn”
Graham will be sorely missed; he’s been an amazing asset to the team.
